The Great Migration – Mara River Crossings

Each high summer, over a million wildebeest and zebra push north from Tanzania's Serengeti, chasing rain and fresh grass into Kenya's Maasai Mara. The most heart-stopping moment comes on the banks of the Mara River, where they hesitate, jostle, then leap one after another into a muddy torrent thick with Nile crocodiles: the greatest overland animal migration on Earth.
