Zao Snow Monsters

At Zao, wind, supercooled droplets and snowfall repeatedly coat conifers, building bulky white forms across the slope. Visitors can observe them from designated areas near Jizo Sancho Station without skiing. These are natural formations, unlike Sapporo’s sculpted snow displays.
