Hanifaru Bay Manta Rays
In a small bay in Baa Atoll, monsoon and tide can concentrate plankton, and manta rays open their mouths to feed as they roll with the current. No scuba tank is needed: Hanifaru Bay is open only to snorkelers, and seeing broad wings cross from the surface is already a lesson in scale. This feast has a season and a tide, but the animals decide when to appear.
