Keukenhof

Open just eight weeks a year, Keukenhof is one of the world's largest flower-bulb gardens. Seven million bulbs bloom in turn across 32 hectares of wooded lawns, with tulips, hyacinths and daffodils laid out in rivers of colour. Climb the windmill and look out, and the commercial flower fields beyond stretch to the horizon like a coloured barcode.
