Nemophila at Hitachi Seaside Park

In late April at Hitachi Seaside Park, a small hill is completely covered by more than five million tiny blue flowers. Climb to the top of Miharashi Hill and the nemophila at your feet, the clear sky overhead and the distant Pacific merge into a single blue, until you cannot tell flower from sky: the dreamiest picture of Japanese spring.
