Green Island, Taiwan

Take a boat from Taitung to Green Island and the blue Kuroshio waters become the backdrop to your trip. Shilang’s nearshore reef can suit snorkeling, while Dabaisha offers another underwater landscape; corals, sea fans and fish shift with light and current. The lighthouse, eroded coast and village are worth exploring on foot too, so a day unsuitable for diving can still have its own scenery.
