El Torcal de Antequera

El Torcal’s pale limestone has weathered into stacked slabs, towers, narrow gaps and irregular balancing forms. Around Torcal Alto, horizontal beds meet vertical fractures, opening and closing views along marked paths. The subject is rock structure, independent of the nearby dolmens’ fame.
