Fall Colours in Algonquin Provincial Park

Algonquin is Canada's oldest provincial park, with more than two thousand lakes scattered across the rolling Canadian Shield. Each year in late September, the hills of sugar and red maples turn crimson all at once. From the top of the Lookout Trail, deep red, orange-yellow and dark-green conifers weave together to the horizon, with lakes mirroring the autumn palette: the most classic autumn in the Maple Leaf country.
