Brown Bears of Brooks Falls, Katmai National Park
Deep in the Alaskan wilderness, a waterfall less than two metres high has become the most famous "bear restaurant" in the world. Each July, sockeye salmon leap upstream while huge brown bears stand at the lip of the falls with mouths wide open. That instant when a salmon flies into a bear's mouth is the image countless photographers chase their whole lives.
