Anse Source d'Argent

Anse Source d'Argent packs three textures into a short stretch of coast: pink-grey granite boulders carved by wind and rain into curves and vertical grooves, fine white sand, and a pale blue-green lagoon sheltered by the reef. Unlike Australia’s Whitehaven Beach, famed for its swirling tidal sandbars, here boulder after boulder carves the shore into small coves, and the tides change how much beach you can walk and how deep the water is.
