Alishan Forest Railway

Climbing gradually from the Chiayi plain, the Alishan Forest Railway links woodland, hillside villages and mountain stations in a journey with its own rhythm. Red carriages curve into the forest; up in the mountains, branch lines connect visitors with forests and morning light.
